Laguna Lake Loop Walk: 184-km Eco-friendly Journey to Promote Low-Impact, Low-Waste Lifestyle

General Objective

To enhance environmental awareness relative to Laguna Lake

Specific Objective

  • To showcase the cleanliness or the lack of it on roads and communities around Laguna Lake
  • To survey the availability of pedestrian sidewalk or the lack of it on roads around Laguna Lake
  • To conduct clean up activities in coordination with LGUs around Laguna Lake
  • To apply and demonstrate low-impact, low-waste practices
  • To conduct LNT lectures while stopped or taking rest at specific locations
  • To complete the walk
    • without buying bottled water (by utilizing BYO tumbler), and
    • without leaving trash across all towns and cities along the route (by utilizing BYOTH)

Distance: Approx. 184 kms 
Duration: 3 weekends in June 2026 – Jun 6-7, Jun 13-14, Jun 20-21
Location: Road around Laguna Lake, Philippines

👉BYO – Bring Your Own (snacks/food, water, mess kit, etc.) *Meals and water refill at karinderia/fastfood along the way
👉BYOTH – Bring Your Own Trash Home
👉LNT – Leave No Trace (LNT) and CLAYGO – clean as you go
👉KKB – Kanya-Kanyang Bayad
👉KKP – Kanya-Kanyang Punta
👉KKI – Kanya-Kanyang Insurance
👉Accommodation to be personally arranged by participants
