Laguna Lake Loop Walk: 184-km Circumnavigation to Promote Environmental Awareness and Responsible Travel by Not Leaving Trash across Cities and Towns along the Route

General Objective

To sustain environmental awareness advocacy towards responsible travel and eco-friendly journey

Specific Objective

  • To conduct cleanup activities in coordination with LGUs around Laguna Lake
  • To apply and demonstrate low-impact, low-waste practices
  • To conduct LNT lectures while stopped or taking rest at specific locations
  • To complete the walk
    • without buying bottled water (by utilizing BYO tumbler), and
    • without leaving trash across all cities and townsalong the route (by utilizing BYOTH)
  • To be the first person to walk around Laguna Lake without leaving trash across all cities and towns along the route

👉BYOTH – Bring Your Own Trash Home * No trash will be left in LGUs around Laguna Lake
👉LNT – Leave No Trace (LNT) and CLAYGO – clean as you go

100% COMPLETED: After 8 days across 4 weekends, Lito De Veterbo finished the full 360-degree Laguna Lake Loop Walk on June 28, 2026 exactly at the same point as the start at Lakeside Eco Park, Angono Rizal. The completion of the walk makes him the first person to circumnavigate Laguna Lake on foot.
