HIGHLIGHT: Advocacy to promote outdoor ethics and environmental awareness

Applied and demonstrated low-impact, low-waste practices both for the outdoors and daily life
Conducted LEAVE NO TRACE Leave No Trace workshop along the way at specific locations. Leave No Trace is a set of guidelines on how to minimize our impacts to the environment, allowing us to protect and enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

FIRST PERSON TO TRAVERSE the Philippines on foot P2P from Maira-ira Point, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte (the northernmost point of Luzon island) to Tinaca Point, Batulaki, Glan, Sarangani Province (the southernmost point of Mindanao island)
COMPLETION OF AN ATTEMPT to set a Guinness record for crossing the Philippines on foot (pending validation by Guinness)
ESTABLISHMENT OF GP3: The Great Philippine P2P (Point-to-point), which is defined as a linear point-to-point traverse of the Philippines connecting Maira-ira Point in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte (the northernmost point of Luzon island) and Tinaca Point in Glan, Sarangani (the southernmost point of Mindanao island). Challengers can carve their own route starting from any of the two points. No checkpoints, no passport required. Just connect the two points utilizing low-impact, low-waste practices. Use of motorized vehicle is discouraged.
